In the USA has enormous amounts of land. 72% live in urban environments on a minuscule amount of the land akin to 3% of the land mass.

So all these eggheads who run around like chickens with their heads cut off saying, " The Earth can only sustain 11 billion!" are insane.

I studied carrying capacity and Malthusian forces while attending university. The manner in which they are calculating it is nonsensical.

For urban planning, a move to dwelling in villages, but having economic hubs for workers to be employed and power generation and universities, would vastly reduce pollution and crime and disease.

Urbanization is an antiquated model that always cause the worst situations like fire and conflict and criminality and infections and concentration of pollution. It makes zero sense for our descendants 200 years from now to live that way.
